Word Wall Words (Kindergarten)

These colorful and easy-to-read words (55 in total) were created for a kindergarten classroom word wall display. Each word is outlined so students have a visual representation of the word (i.e. which letters are tall, which hang below the base line, etc.).

There are two files included in this set; one in color, one in black & white. If you do not have access to a color printer, you can print the black & white set onto colorful card stock and laminate for future use.

Each set includes every letter of the alphabet (capital & lowercase letters) for an easy way to organize your Word Wall. Also included is a title for you to use as you see fit!

To use: Create your Word Wall in a place that students can see at all times. Encourage them to independently use this resource. In my classroom, I typically introduce about 5 or so new word wall words each week. We discuss them as a class and look for differences and similarities between words with which they are already familiar.

PLEASE NOTE: This file is a “.zip” file, meaning that multiple files (color and black & white) are included within that folder. You have to “unzip” the folder to decompress those files. Please let me know if you have any questions and I would be happy to try and help!

To see the words that are included in this file, please download the PREVIEW file. The second page contains a list of all words that are included!
