Money Bingo (+ Math Center!)

Teaching money can be challenging for many students; luckily, this game makes learning this concept FUN!  This 72 page book is filled with a variety of activities that you can use with students of all abilities.Stop by my TpT store to purchase this great activity! 

This game covers coin combinations up to $1.00.  It can be used as a whole group activity (up to 30 players!) or as a center for a small group of students.  It can even be used as an individual assignment and differentiated to meet a variety of student abilities (see “How to Use” below).


How to use:

This activity can be used in typical “Bingo” fashion.  After determining which version of “Money” you want to play (see below), one person reads from the “Matching Cards”  using the card to cover the corresponding number on the “Calling Card”.   Students determine the correct answer and checks off the matching ones on their “Money” cards.

This game has been set up for you to choose the level of difficulty or the objective you would like students to work on.

**All three versions of the game can be played with the same Bingo (“Money”) cards, saving you time, money & resources!!**


Set #1 is designed for students learning to recognize coins.  You use the calling cards to say the amounts of coins (i.e.  This card has one penny, one nickel and one dime).  You may not be looking for students to tell you the value, just the amount of coins on a card.

Set #2 is designed for students learning to determine the value of a set of coins.  You use the calling cards to say the value of coins (i.e.  This card is worth 26¢).

Set #3 is designed for students learning to manipulate totals in a variety of ways (add, subtract, make change, problem solve, etc.).  You use the calling cards to read the problem and students locate the answer on their “Money” board (i.e.  The answer to the problem is 26¢).


Each activity has its own answer key so you can allow students to check their work as they go.  You can differentiate the activity by allowing students to work on the concept that best fits their needs.
